Audi India is getting huge success in the Indian market. The recent success is the Audi A8 which got appreciable initial bookings. Q5 2.0 TDI diesel Staled for launch sometime in March, the Q5 2.0 TDI will be priced at around Rs 42 lakh, ex-showroom Mumbai. Will be Powered by a 1968cc, four-cylinder diesel engine as found on the A4, it produces 168 bhp@4200 rpm and about 35.3 kgm of peak torque, available between 1750 and 2500 rpm.

Mercedes To Launch G Wagon Suv On Valentine's Day





Mercedes Benz is all set to expand its product portfolio with the launch of the G Wagon on the 14th february. The G wagon is a rugged offroader and has a long history associated with it. The Mercedes Geländewagen, which literally means cross country vehicle or the G550 will be powered by a 382 Bhp, 5.5-liter V-8 engine which is mated to a 7 speed automatic transmission with four wheel drive channel with lockable rear differential, front and cente and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in about 6 seconds. Watch out for more from the launch. A whopping 75% or 385 Nm of torque is available just off idle from 1,000 rpm which should most definitely make for some rapid pulling power. The car will be highly priced due to the model being imported into India directly as a CBU (completely built unit).

Volvo to launch XC60 SUV in India on November 24



Volvo has revealed that it will launch the XC60 compact SUV in the Indian market on 24th November’ 2010.The XC60 is one of the modern offerings from Volvo and made its international debut at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show. Volvo has been late to launch this model in India but finally the XC60 will be imported as a completely built unit (CBU) from November onwards.The XC60 will feature a twin-turbo 2.4-litre diesel engine with a power output of 202bhp and 420Nm of torque. A 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 petrol engine may also be launched. Volvo has as yet not disclosed the XC60s pricing but it is expected to cost about Rs. 40 lakh. The compact SUV will compete with BMW’s next-generation X3 and Audi’s Q5.
